The Horrenberg Seismometer
Station map widget
This map shows the approximate location of my Raspberry Shake station at Horrenberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It provides the geographic context of the instrument and helps relate the recorded data to the local setting. The station is part of a wider citizen seismology network that continuously monitors ground motion.
Live seismogram widget
This live seismogram displays the current ground motion recorded by my Raspberry Shake station in near real time. The signal may reflect local environmental noise, human activity, weather-related effects, or seismic waves from regional and distant earthquakes. It offers an immediate view of the instrument’s continuous monitoring capability.
Extended data view widget
This extended waveform display presents a more detailed view of the seismic data recorded by my Raspberry Shake station. Compared with the compact live plot, it allows a closer inspection of signal amplitude, temporal structure, and changing background noise. It is intended for readers who would like a more analytical look at the measurements.
